It is not suitable for patients with an existing bacterial infection, taking antibiotics, pregnant or nursing women, alcoholic patients, patients with bleeding disorders and with neuromuscular disorder, e.g. myasthenia gravis.
What are the side effects? A little bruising at the sight of injection is possible and will disappear in a matter of days. Patients can expect to feel a tightening in the treated area from approximately day three and visual results from about day five onwards.Paracetamol is sufficient to treat any headaches due to the treatment.In rare cases a slight drooping of the eyelid can be successfully be treated with eye drops.
