Thread Lifting
We cannot stop time but in regards to our appearance we can turn back the hands
The natural aging process does not mean we have to give up beauty and a youthful appearance.
The aging process, which begins to appear around the age of 30, reverses the so-called “triangle of beauty”. This appears inverted on the face during adolescence and in our 20's but inevitably reverses overtime. Along with sagging of the tissues, deep furrows and wrinkles begin appearing, indicating an inner change in the supporting structure of the skin. Thread lifting is your key to a small step back in time. It is a minimally invasive technique with only a short recovery time that can shave years off your age without you having to undergo major surgery or have visible scars. What is Thread Lifting?
This is a new, innovative technique of face rejuvenation, which offers the benefit of a non-surgical intervention and therefore, it only requires a short period of recuperation. The material consists of biodegradable threads that have long been used in surgery. During this procedure, threads are inserted into the deeper connective tissues. They attach themselves in the subcutaneous tissue and if positioned properly they create a tension into the desired direction. This creates a mild stretch of the subcutaneous tissue and the skin, which is firmed up after a few days by the natural increase in connective tissue (fibrosing).
Local anaesthesia is used for the treatment and the threads are absorbed after a certain time depending on the material. Additional threads can be placed at any time.
Therefore, there is a method available, which allows lifting the skin and tightening the hypodermis significantly with minimal effort or some time and nearly risk-free. Compared to conventional ace lifting, thread lifting offers the patients benefits. It means less stress because this intervention is significantly smaller. There are no visible scars and healing is generally very quick. Additional benefits of the procedure: It takes little time (only approx. 15 to 40 minutes). 20-30 minutes prior to the treatment anaesthesia needs to be applied.; it has a low risk of pain and inflammation.
The result is seen immediately after the intervention.
Area of application
Depending on the consultation and the treatment area, different kinds of threads and treatment techniques can be used. The areas of the face and the body that can be treated are:

What is the procedure in the personal consultation
Before the treatment you have the opportunity of a personal treatment in general as well as the respective risks and possibilities. Furthermore, you can state your own wishes and expectations.
After the consultation there will be an examination of the area/ areas that are to be treated. Your doctor will examine your skin and skin elasticity in order to investigate more in detail. He will answer any questions you may have.
How does the treatment work?
The area of treatment is locally anaesthetised and then the absorbable thread is inserted into the tissue. The type and the number of threads that are to be applied will be discussed with you beforehand.
By this minimally invasive procedure new connective tissue s build up around the thread so that the skin gets firmer and tighter. Certain types of threads can also lift the facial tissue to ts original position. This new and gentle method leaves neither wounds nor scars. The threads are absorbed after a certain time depending on the type of the thread. The results will be visible or a longer period. Your doctor can give you more detailed information on this.
